Baby House

On most afternoons Christina, our friend, and I go to the baby house to play with the babies. At maximum there is 10 babies. Last week they got a new baby that was 2 days old. The police found him in a bush abandoned and called New Hope and asked if they could take him. Christina and I saw him the day he arrived and he is the smallest baby we have ever seen! Please pray for him and the ladies at the Baby House as they take care of him. There are 2 babies that are not there all the time, 1 of them is a special needs child who is sometimes at the baby house and sometimes at her house in the village and I believe sometimes at a house near David Family where some of the kids stay that have special needs. The other one is a quite little and is sometimes at the baby house and sometimes at his home in the village (I think). The rest are all there all through the week and some of them go to a staff`s house for the weekend. The youngest that is there most of the time is quite small but can now sit up and now has a new perspective on the world! Two of the babies can crawl one just learned and is slowly but surely becoming faster. The other one is very fast and you always have to keep an eye on him. They both have beautiful smiles. There is one baby that came just about the same time we came last year and is now beginning to walk but is still quite slow. He is very stubborn but put him in a swing and he is happy (usually:)). The other 3 are ones we had become good friends with last year. They are all doing well and are always ready to play hide and seek and go for walks and just play. The younger of the three is probably the best talker in both Luganda and English and is a stay at home boy. The other 2 love to go for walks and swing. They are all SOOOOO fun to play with! Here are just a few of the kids at the baby house-the girl and the boy sitting can crawl and the other one is the one that is just beginning to walk.
