Christmas Preperations

 A few days before Christmas we made Christmas cookies like we do every year. Stella, one of our friends, was spending the night so we made the cookies together. When it was time to bake them Mom went over to our next door neighbours house to preheat their oven because we thought their oven would get hotter than ours. When the oven failed to heat up any hotter than ours John went over to help. He came running back saying, "Where's Dad?" When they went back out John told him, "There is a snake over by the Mitchells!". So off they went with a slasher in tow to kill a baby snake. Thankfully it was just a baby snake and the cookie-making productions continued uneventfully! We baked them and sampled a few. Then some of David Family came at 6 to help make cookies, after we just put the last batch into the oven! So they helped deliver some on the way home. Who would have thought that we would have so much excitment while making Christmas cookies?!
