Hope Family

On Wednesdays and Thursdays Christina and I go to Hope Family. On Wednesday we usually do water play with the kids with a clothes washing station, a boda washing station (not always), a dishes washing station, and a bubbles and splash station. Guess what is the most popular?

On Thursdays we usually do painting. They have two paint stations and then they have one other activity for the kids who aren't painting. They usually do the same type of painting activity each week so my mom and I cut out cardboard stars and shapes so that they could make Christmas Stars and other shapes with paint as a change! When we got there last Thursday it had rained all morning and the kids were inside so they were deciding whether to go for a walk or to paint. When I brought out the cardboard star and a new craft idea the aunties were all excited about doing that and the decision was made-we would paint!

After we got the paint stations set up all the kids got to paint pictures at both stations.

Here is a picture of the final results of the cardboard star prints! We didn't have much yellow....so there were pink and blue stars!

 After we painted we went on a little walk. It was white ant day and there were ants all over the place that were a great treat for many people...but that is another story :)
