Doom and the Hourly Clock

There are 2 things that are very interesting things here in Uganda which I don't think we have in Canada or the USA. As most people now or probably expect there are lots of bugs here. Most of them are ones that you don't want to get aquainted with. Well Doom can be the answer. It is a spray that quickly kills big, nasty bugs. This can be very helpful when there are hornets, or bees, or cockroaches, and a bunch of other bugs that you don't want in your house. The hourly clock is something that you don't find in the city and can be very annoying especially when you are trying to get used to the time change. They can sound like many things and they have 2 legs and lots of feathers. We have them in North America and they usually live on farms. They can make delicious dinners but they don't have much of this type of meat here.
If you haven't guessed they are roosters (or chickens). These rooseters chime every hour from around 3-7 so every hour you hear them. It woke me up last night and they will probably wake me up again.
